  Just Kidding Folks....seriously...

Annelise is from Carmel, CA. She started sailing at the Monterey Peninsula YC in Lasers (triplehanded for the kiddies!) and went on to race singlehanded actively at a national level. Annelise was a member of the Cal Sailing Team at UC Berkeley for 5 years and was Team Co-Captain for 3. She was also an Alumni Leadership Scholar for 4 years. Post-college, Annelise worked for Cal Adventures for 2 years before moving to Kaneohe, HI to crew for Molly O'Bryan (and to learn to surf). To date, many people have helped Annelise and Team O'Bryan/Moore with their pursuit of the Olympic Dream. Special thanks to Marguerite Moore and Kay O'Bryan, Loren Moore, Kelly O'Bryan, Mike and Karen O'Bryan, Matt Gingo, Josh Henrich, Beth and Tom Andrewes, Genie Simeona, Jesse and Shelly Andrews, Neil Morgan, The Kaneohe Yachting Foundation, Lexi Andrews, Kati Jackovics, the Mullen Family, Andy and Leslie Johnson, our friends at the Gilman Compound, the US 470 fleet and Skip Whyte, the folks at US Sailing, and all of our friends, family and contributors. We are excited about establishing a more active west coast and Hawaii 470 fleet. Thanks to Martin Sterling and Sean Doyle for training with us! We are currently staying in style at the Bordelon residence in Shoreacres, with Mike and Ann. They put on a great porch party/gumbo/shrimp boil for us and the 470 fleet. They are very generous and funny people, and Mike is a skilled member of the HYC race committee. Mike Bordelon: "Are y'all familiar with synchronized swimming? Now, if one of them drowns do they all drown?"
